Giving fans some blasts from the past, the CW orders a live-action reboot of The Powerpuff Girls and a remake of The 4400.
According to Variety, the network has placed a trial order for the reboot of The Powerpuff Girls for live action and a direct-to-series order for the remake of The 4400.
The network also issued two more pilot orders, the DC Project Naomi by Ava DuVernay and Jill Blankenship and an unnamed religious drama by Claire Rothrock and Ryann Weir.
