During the first half of Super Bowl 2021 on Sunday, cameras turned to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as he chatted with Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara.
At one point, it seemed that Goodell’s focus was on the 35-year-old singer, leaving the 32-year-old Seahawks quarterback awkwardly in the middle.
“He looks like a disgruntled villain planning a crime,” wrote a Twitter user from Wilson.
“He’s so miserable hahahahahahahaha,” replied another.
“Russell Wilson looks so disappointed to watch the Super Bowl with Goodell,” one posted.
“Russell Wilson is not feeling that conversation between Goodell and Ciara,” another tweeted.
Earlier in the day, Sunday, Ciara – who has been married to Wilson since 2016 – posted a tribute to the quarterback after being named Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.
You are the most selfless, loving, and caring person I know. Your heart, commitment, and commitment to care for others is really what sets you apart. It is one of the most beautiful and attractive things about you! I am so proud of you and to be a part of your amazing mission to influence others! she wrote on Instagram.
The couple have two children together, daughter Sienna Princess, 3, and 6-month-old son Win Harrison. Ciara also shares son Future Zahir, 6, with her ex, recording artist Future.
Last month, Wilson and the Seahawks were eliminated from the playoffs by the Los Angeles Rams in the wildcard round.
