More solo-focused content is coming to Red Dead Online for those of you who like to brave the limit on your own. Rockstar Games has published a blog post on its newsline thanking GTA Online and Red Dead Online players with tons of goodies. While that was the prominent theme of the post, the developer does offer a little look at what’s to come.
“Stay tuned for more news on exciting future updates for both games coming this year, including new employment opportunities for solo players in Red Dead Online,” the report reads. “Look forward to more festive events in the near future for the chance to score new gear, bonus GTA $ and a free vehicle in GTA Online, and a range of new offers and rewards in Red Dead Online.”
Thank you Rockstar, I think I’ll be careful. The plethora of new solo content makes sense, considering GTA Online got a robbery last year that you could do solo, and many Red Dead fans play solo themselves. Recently, a new network change that puts players in solo lobbies instead of booting them up straight away has been warmly received. Of course, players have since figured out how to activate that on demand.
Rockstar also underlines in its update that Red Dead Online is in good shape. The online game became available in December as a standalone game, separate from Red Dead Redemption 2, gaining more players and more new players that month than ever since the beta launch. Fun.
To celebrate the success, Rockstar gives you a free horse, a free stable slot, 5,000 Club XP and more if you feel like it. You can also grab the western game for $ 4.99 until February 15, so there’s plenty to do.
