Last week, actress Evan Rachel Wood, who had previously testified about an abusive relationship in her past, stated that her abuser was Brian Warner, better known in the music world as Marilyn Manson. As the week progressed, more allegations were made against Manson by others. Meanwhile, Wood has used her Instagram account to delve further into talking about their relationship, as well as claims of anti-Semitism by Manson.
In her Instagram Stories, Wood revealed, “I was derogatively referred to as a ‘Jew’. He drew swastikas all over my nightstand when he was mad at me. She added, “I heard the ‘n’ word over and over.” Everyone around him had to laugh and participate. If you didn’t or (god forbid) exclaimed him, you got picked and more abused. I’ve never been so scared in my life. “
In a separate post, the actress explained that her mother was Jewish and that she was raised in the religion. ‘Because she repented and was not of Jewish descent [sic] he said things like, ‘That’s better’ because I wasn’t ‘blood Jewish,’ ”added Wood.
The actress also showed Manson photos with tattoos on his arms and chest that she claimed were Nazi symbols, adding, “He didn’t have these tattoos when we started dating.”
As for those who questioned the nature of their sexual relationship, Wood added in a post-deleted post, “Brian and I never had a ‘BDSM’ relationship. We didn’t even have ‘kinky’ sex. intercourse when I was tortured, before or after. I thought I was going to die all the time. “
After Wood’s initial allegations last week in which he named him as her abuser, Manson issued a statement that read, “Obviously my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible biases of “The reality. My intimate relationships have always been fully agreed with like-minded partners. No matter how – and why – others choose to misrepresent the past now, that’s the truth.”
In the time since the allegations were first leveled, Manson was dropped by his record label and its agents, cut off from two upcoming TV projects, and his 25-year-old manager had cut ties with him. Additionally, former bandmate Wes Borland, former producer Trent Reznor, and ex-fiancé Rose McGowan have all publicly denounced Manson. And musicians Phoebe Bridgers and Otep Shamaya have shared troubling stories of encounters with the singer.
Additionally, Wolf Alice singer Ellie Roswell recently shared an experience where Manson attempted to film her skirt performing at a festival.
Actor Corey Feldman also came forward over the weekend with allegations against Manson, alleging that the musician was trying to force him to break his sobriety, claiming that Manson inflicted “ decades of mental and emotional abuse ” on him.
Manson’s ex-wife, model Dita Von Teese, stated that the abuse allegations against Manson were inconsistent with her own personal relationship with the singer, but that “abuse of any kind does not fit into any relationship.”
Sharon Osbourne as she continued speaking The conversation, revealed that fans had commented on social media about her connection to Manson, so she turned her association to the musician she described as a ‘working relationship’. “Apparently, I don’t know what’s going on in his bedroom; I don’t want to either, “said Osbourne, adding,” I know nothing about his sexual preferences or the way he treats women. I know how he treats an older woman, I am, and he has always been respectful. “
On Wednesday (Feb. 4) last week, the LAPD conducted a welfare check on Manson after a friend asked police to check on the singer after he was unable to reach him by phone. Police made several attempts to get Manson out to speak to them, but were eventually convinced by a Manson representative that the singer was okay and that no further intervention was needed.
