Hugh Jeffreys has become a veteran of smartphone fixes and the video below may not be unlike any other recovery clip, it’s still a challenge considering he’s restoring the Galaxy Z Flip. The model he ordered has a screen that flickers so much you can’t see what’s on it, along with a cracked rear window, broken camera lens, and a non-working charging port.
After hours of searching, Hugh Jeffreys came across the replacement part for the display and glass back. However, he would have to remove every part of the broken Galaxy Z Flip and transfer it to the new chassis. If you watch the video you will find that it is no small feat as a large number of ribbon cables and glue make it quite difficult to remove all parts easily.
