Tennessee trolls Kentucky with video about the locker room celebration

After going in the half with a 42-38 lead, the Kentucky Wildcats continued to fight, extending their lead to double digits after 12 minutes in the second half. Keion Brooks Jr. drilled a jumper into the paint, followed by a bargain by Devin Askew and plunged into the transition by Brandon Boston Jr. to push the UK’s lead to 58-48 at the second media timeout.

At the time, it looked like Kentucky had secured momentum and was ready to expand the lead in much the same way that Britain’s Florida and LSU eruptions did.

Following the game’s breakthrough moment – or at least what appeared to be at the time – the official Kentucky men’s basketball Twitter account posted a video of Boston’s dunk in transition with the caption “ We’re having fun. ”

From then on, Tennessee managed to finish the game with a 34-13 run to take the 82-71 win, giving the program its sixth win in nine tries against Kentucky. The comeback win pushed Rick Barnes’ record against John Calipari and the Wildcats to 8-5 since he took over the role of UT head coach, making him the only active head coach to lead his team to at least three wins at Rupp Arena.

Needless to say, the volunteers celebrated victory accordingly, and they didn’t leave Lexington without a quick trolling move toward Kentucky.

“We’re having fun,” Tennessee’s official basketball account posted on Twitter, accompanied by a video of the team’s locker room celebration.

They certainly deserved it too.
