President Biden had another round of X-rays on his broken right foot on Saturday, which Dr. Kevin O’Connor says it is improving “as expected”.
He made the doctor’s visit to Delaware Orthopedic Specialists on his first trip away from Washington since he became president. Biden had twisted his ankle while playing with his German Shepherd, Major.
O’Connor said it was a “regularly scheduled weight-bearing X-ray taken 10 weeks after the injury.”

Biden was injured at the foot at the end of November. He has been seen walking and jogging lightly between the White House buildings with no sign of injury. He was not seen in the boot that his doctor initially thought he needed.
“Initial X-rays are reassuring that there is no apparent fracture and he will be getting an additional CT for more detailed imaging,” O’Connor said in a statement in November. “Follow-up CT scan confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, located in the midfoot. He is expected to need a walking shoe for several weeks.”

Biden said he was going to Wilmington, Del. Had flown to finish packing and spend time with family.
