The Chicago Bears were expected to be major players in the quarterback market this off-season, and it has certainly been proven, even before the free agency and the NFL draft.
With several quarterbacks on or rumored to be on the road off-season, the Bears have been named with them all – Deshaun Watson, Matthew Stafford, Derek Carr and now Carson Wentz.
The Philadelphia Eagles have received aggressive offers from teams across the league for Wentz, and it sounds like it’s a matter of when Wentz finds a new home.
There are rumors all over the internet linking Wentz to the Bears, which would make sense given the presence of John DeFilippo and Matt Nagy’s insult. Still, they’re just rumors right now.
Twitter, of course, had a lot to say about speculation that Wentz could be traded to the Bears. And most of it, as you might assume, wasn’t pretty.
