Alisha Wainwright sings the praises of her Palmer co-star Justin Timberlake

Alisha Wainwright has nothing but praise for her Palmer co-star Justin Timberlake, despite being embroiled in a bit of controversy while they were filming the drama.

Wainwright, 31, and Timberlake, 40, were seen holding hands and getting really close hanging out on an outdoor patio in New Orleans in November 2019.

Wainwright representatives insisted there was no romantic connection between the actress and her married co-star, although Timberlake later apologized for his “ strong judgmental error, ” even though he insisted not to cheat on his wife Jessica Biel.

Wainwright also praised her young co-star Ryder Allen during a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, revealing she wished she had his confidence.

She added that Allen, ‘is unapologetically himself,’ adding when he read for the play, ‘he had so much energy.

‘I’m just happy to be a part of anything that sends out a positive message. Especially for kids and people who don’t typically get into the spotlight in movies, ‘she added.

“What really drew me to the project was the story and the way my character, Maggie, functioned in the story,” Wainwright said.

“She’s a grounding character who helps the two become better people,” the actress explained.

Palmer, which also includes Juno Temple, June Squibb, and Dean Winters, is available to stream on Apple TV Plus.
