The Super Nintendo game Super Mario World is amazing, but what could have changed if there were no file size restrictions back then? For starters, the iconic music was perhaps even better.
The truth is, we’ve been listening to “heavily compressed” music in this game for years. But today we can finally hear the songs from Super Mario World in all their glory. You see, talented dataminers restored the songs in-game with completely uncompressed samples.
