House Democrats have set “an alarming new precedent” with their successful bid to recruit freshman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., To be removed from two committees for her support of conspiracy theories prior to winning elected office, Sean Hannity said Thursday.
“Apparently voters and elect, they are no longer important to them,” said the host of “Hannity” in his opening monologue. According to those who voted to remove Congressman Greene from committees, a standard they don’t apply to themselves doesn’t matter the people in Georgia, those who voted for her with a whopping 74% of the vote, the people who voted today.
Think about that. Their votes are simply discounted. Lawmakers outside of her district rule, including many truly insane conspiratorial Democrats, those who have never apologized for their earlier radical views, anti-Semitic statements, and much more. “
Hannity argued that Greene had “apologized” and “said her beliefs were wrong and misleading.
“My question is when will the Democrats follow suit?” he asked. “When does the media correct so many stories that they are all wrong?”
If Republicans regain control of the House after the 2022 elections, Hannity insisted, they would “apply the standards equally.”
“Any Democrat who has pushed the Trump and Russia conspiracy theory, the lies, they should all be stripped of their committees if we have a standard for everyone,” he added.

“Mark my words, today’s political stunt will backfire on the Democrats … this action is doing absolutely nothing to improve the lives of you, the American people. This is nothing more than just another political trick,” ” he said.
Eleven Republicans joined 219 Democrats to remove Taylor Greene from her seats on the House Budget Committee and the House Education and Labor Committee.
