Warzone Season 1 was largely dominated by the same two or three weapons. Weapons like the Fennec are easily forgotten, but this incarnation of the Vector is actually quite powerful, and we’ve crafted the best gear for it.
When people look back at the integration of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, many will look back on it with pleasure, and some will be immediately reminded of three simple letters: DMR. A great weapon on its own in BOCW, the weapon became an absolute Meta-breaker in Warzone.
This means that Kilo 141 equipment and MP5 equipment are a thing of the past. By much complaining about its overwhelming nature, the DMR grain finally took effect. This has opened the door to a new potential new go-to weapon of choice.
Interestingly, murmurs and wonder have insinuated that the Fennec has been secretly polished and is now a powerful killer. That’s why we’ve put together an outfit with the best attachments and benefits to maximize the weapon ‘s potential.
Best Fennec Warzone Gear
- Barrel: ZLR18 ”Deadfall
- Laser: Tac Laser
- Stock: No stock
- Underflow: Merc Foregrip
- Ammunition: 40 round drum magazines
The Barrel is an easy choice because the ZLR18 ″ Deadfall remotely increases the damage output of the weapon and controls some of the volatile SMG recoil. We chose one Laser and think the Tac Laser is built for tremendous speed. Since the recoil is a bit fiercer with an SMG, aiming your sights faster can counter any missed shots.
In front of stock, we removed it altogether, as some minor recoil increases are happy to offset with faster ADS time. Our Underbarrel selection is the fairly common Merc Foregrip, as the extra hip-firing accuracy makes the Fennec unreal at close range. Finally, for Ammunition, we chose the popular 40 Round Drum Mags to give us a little more comfort with extra bullets in a 1v1.
Best Warzone Perks To Use With Fennec
Perk 1 – Double Time
Description: Double the duration of Tactical Sprint. Increase the squat movement speed by 30%.
As with most SMGs, you want to do your best to quickly close the gap with your opponents. Combined with the extra running you do to reach the safe zones, sprinting will be a big part of this loadout. So increasing your stamina is a huge bonus.
Perk 2 – High warning
Description: Your sight pulses when enemies outside your sight see you. Multiplayer: Also activated by enemies piloting helicopters, wheels, IAVs and APCs.
This perk gives you enough time to anticipate threats and avoid dangers. Again, since you need to stay mobile and be more agile with an SMG, it complements the weapon perfectly.
Perk 3 – Amped
Description: Faster weapon change and rocket launcher reload speed. Does not affect the change to guns and knives. Most equipment is used faster.
An SMG can chew through an ammo clip in seconds, and this can expose you to a firefight. Faster weapon changes are key, and a tasty Shotgun can help you take out the enemy.
That’s our best Warzone gear for the underused Fennec SMG. At the very least give it a try and see if some aspects of it work well for you.
