Camila, daughter of Alejandro Fernandez and America Guinart, announced that she is expecting her first daughter with husband Francisco Barba, baby who will turn the “foal” into a grandfather.
After the criticism and strong pregnancy rumors sparked by the unexpected marriage and in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the singer confirmed for Hola! Mexico expecting a girl in April.
“I WILL BE MAMAAAAAAA,” Camila wrote on Instagram when publishing.

After the news, Camila received dozens of congratulations from her followers. The image received more than 15 thousand “likes”.
So far, neither Alejandro nor Vicente Fernández, Camila’s grandfather, have made a statement.

Camila Fernández got married in Zapopan on August 1, in a charro-esque wedding to honor her roots.
The 22-year-old married Francisco Barba after a nine-month courtship in an intimate ceremony in which her grandfather, Vicente Fernández, was absent because he was at high risk for the COVID-19 virus.
Far from receiving congratulations from his followers, criticism rained down on him, despite sanitary measures being respected during the ceremony. Users considered it an irresponsible act to get married during troubled times.
