Myopia is a disease that affects the eyes, allowing people who have difficulty with it to observe objects far away. So far it has been known that this is the only way correcting this condition is through surgery, in Japan decided to set up a company lenses that can eliminate myopia.
Kubota is a company in Japan that decided to use technology to develop lenses that can eliminate myopia. According to a statement from the company, the glasses are expected to be launched in Asia in the second half of 2021.
The company states that to correct myopia, lenses should be worn for 60 to 90 minutes per day. The function of glasses is to reduce the length of the axis from the cornea to the retina, blurring distant objects.
Until now, Kubota Pharmaceutical has not disclosed how long to wear the glasses to see results. or if it’s just a temporary effect, studies are still ongoing.
The Japanese company plans to market the glasses in Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore, sales would be through stores or online, as if that weren’t enough, so would Kubota is working on making contact lenses that can eliminate myopia.
Myopia is a condition that occurs when the cornea and retina of the eye are far from each other, causing objects at a great distance not to focus properly and therefore become blurred.
