Antonio Conte has given his response to Arturo vidal‘s complaints about his replacement against Juventus, in which he says he does not take note of the reactions of players as he is in charge.
The below head coach is eager to show his squad who is boss and tells players to just keep going.
“When I take out a player, I don’t pay attention to their reaction,” Conte told Sky Sport Italia.
“I make the decisions and the players have to accept them, and that’s it.”
Vidal, who was replaced by Christian Eriksen in the 73rd minute of the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Juventus on Tuesday night, was noticeably irritated and was told to voice his complaints when he left the field.
“Always the 22, always the 22,” Vidal allegedly said, according to Italian media, regarding his own number on the replacement board.
The Chilean midfielder received a yellow card and will miss the return game next week due to suspension.
