Lars Sullivan has reportedly left WWE.
Lars was quietly released sometime in January, according to PWInsider. While Lars is still on the official SmackDown wrestler roster at the time of writing, the report said WWE officials confirmed the departure today.
Sullivan originally signed in 2013 and made his NXT debut in May 2017. His main list debut came in January 2019, but then spent some time outside the company due to personal issues.
He then sustained a knee injury in June 2019 and was shelved until October last year when he returned to the action for the SmackDown brand.
Sullivan’s last game was on October 23 on SmackDown, when he defeated Chad Gable. He beat Jeff Hardy the week before, which was his comeback match. WWE began airing vignettes and interviews with Lars in late October and November, but nothing ever happened.
