MGM To Make Wall Street Chaos Movie Over GameStop Stock – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: After one of the craziest weeks in Wall Street history, Hollywood has already set its sights on the wild story with a familiar face it wants to tell. Sources tell Deadline that MGM acquired the book proposal after a competitive situation The antisocial network from New York Times bestselling author Ben Mezrich, who tells one of the biggest news stories of the year, about a group of amateur investors, gamers and internet trolls that brought Wall Street to its knees. That has seen GameStop’s market value up more than 1,700% since December. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, its market value rose by more than $ 10 billion.

The fun didn’t stop there as more newcomers to the stock game started looking to other stocks considered obsolete or super low like Nokia and AMC to do the same, sparking a great deal of controversy when the trading app RobinHood started throttling restrictions on to impose on certain stocks.
