Sand Springs Police and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are investigating a quadruple murder.
News on 6 learned that detectives were able to obtain a search warrant so they could enter the house and start that part of the investigation.
Neighbors and relatives were interviewed. Investigators said the mother of one of the adult victims in the house went out earlier Saturday to check on her grandchildren and walked into a crime scene.
“This is quite a tragedy for our community,” said Captain Todd Enzbrenner of the Sand Springs Police Department. ‘It’s difficult for the family. It’s difficult for my officers. It’s difficult for the medical staff. It is difficult for you. ”
Police said the victims are two adults and their two young children. They still don’t have a timeline for what led to the shooting.
This is a story in progress.
