Ivonne Benet, one of the four nieces, stressed that it had been put up for sale since before the impossibility to turn it into a museum, they decided that someone else would take care of her as a measure to keep her from deteriorating.

“We want whoever takes over the house to enjoy it. Two of my sisters don’t usually live in Puerto Rico and another is gone for health reasons too, so we made the decision.”, he emphasized.
