A company called Airbag Inside Sweden AB has recently designed a prototype of a garment that could make qmake motorcycle trips safer for motorcyclists. Although they look like jeans on the outside normal, are lined with airbags that are activated if the motorcyclist falls off the bike. The pants they are tied to the motorcycle, and if we pull the part that connects them, they blow up quickly.
The goal is to impact on lower body. Vests with airbags have been around for years, but no one had yet figured out how protect the lower body.
The pants can be deflated, refilled with gas and reassemble them so you don’t have to buy new ones every time they activate. The pants are also made of aramid fibers, actually a material strong.
El director de Airbag Inside Sweden AB, Moses Shahrivar, lleva work on products like this during the last 16 years old, and it started designing tightly lined trousers learn for Harley-Davidson, in an effort to launch garments with added safety.
The company has achieved 150,000 euros of the European Union to develop the idea and is currently in the process of obtaining all safety certifications through a series of crash tests.
