Seth Rogen calls Ted Cruz a ‘fascist’ as they spar about Disney’s Fantasia on Twitter

Seth Rogan has carried out a devastating attack on Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who describes him as a “ fascist ” in a wild Twitter feud.

The 38-year-old Knocked Up star has thrown every F word at his disposal at the Republican politician on social media for the past few days.

Their angry back-and-forth started on Inauguration Day when Rogen reacted angrily to one of Cruz’s tweets about the Paris Climate Agreement, but the actor was also outraged by claims that the 50-year-old Republican had rallied support for the violent Capitol. Hill riot on January 6 in which five people were killed.

Cruz’s January 20 tweet referred to President Biden re-attributing the United States to the Paris climate accord, a pact that seeks to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.

By rejoining the Paris climate accord, President Biden indicates that he is more interested in the views of the people of Paris than the jobs of the people of Pittsburgh, ” Cruz tweeted. “This agreement has little impact on the climate and harms the livelihoods of Americans.”

“F *** off you fascist,” Rogen replied.

The post was also immediately ridiculed by many other users, as Cruz seemed to falsely believe the accords were made exclusively by Parisians, when in fact the name refers to where countries gathered to adopt the agreement.

Actually Challenged: Cruz tweeted that the Paris Climate Agreement has helped “citizens of Paris” more than “citizens of Pittsburgh,” though it has nothing to do with Parisians, who had Rogen tweeted, “F *** off you fascist”; Cruz seen in the Capitol in October

Other critics suggested he was aware of that fact and cynically tried to gain support from followers who weren’t that educated on the matter.

Some users scoff at Cruz’s alleged concern about the residents of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after he was one of six Republican senators to vote against the Pennsylvania presidential election result over unfounded claims of electoral fraud.

However, Cruz was especially concerned about Rogen’s criticisms, and he shared a screenshot of the post, adding, ‘Charming, civilized, educated response. @Sethrogen If you’re a rich, angry Hollywood celebrity, today’s Dems is the party for you. If you’re a worker, if you’re a union member, if you work in energy or manufacturing … not so much. ‘

Rogen replied, “If you’re a white racist fascist who doesn’t find it offensive if someone calls your wife ugly, Ted Cruz is the exact bastard for you,” adding that he was in “four unions.” ‘

When their Twitter feud ignited, neither Rogen nor Cruz seemed willing to give up and instead escalated.

In response to a quick tweet asking about the first movie people saw in theaters, Cruz replied that it was Walt Disney’s Fantasia.

It was set during a movie revival. It scared me; I was crying – I was 4. My mom had to pull me out, ”he wrote, adding,“ Good times.

Rogen replied, “Anyone who made that movie would hate you.”

‘They are all dead. So I think we are good. And Walt Disney was a Republican, ‘Cruz wrote in a quote tweet. Even though you act like a Marxist online with Gilles de la Tourette (‘FU! FU!’ Yelling is really smart), your movies are usually quite funny. I’m sure you hate that I enjoy it. ‘

Rogen replied that he has a ‘mild case’ of Tourette and again blamed the senator.

“Again, I am delighted to tell you that you have to fuck yourself,” he wrote, before adding a medical comment: “Also VERY few cases of Tourette manifest in uncontrollable curses. Most cases, like mine, manifest in twitching. ‘

He added in another tweet: ‘All jokes aside, @tedcruz is a fascist piece s ***.’

Cruz stuck to the form, writing, ‘All jokes aside, @Sethrogen is an idiot. It is your party that believes in the power of the government: to shut down your business, suppress your faith, and censor your speech. Anyone who disagrees tries to cancel. Besides, a lot of people in Hollywood are conservative – and muzzled by the fascist left. ‘

Rogen seemed furious enough to mention the deadly uprising at the Capitol, in which a police officer was killed by protesters after allegedly being hit in the head with a fire extinguisher.

He made himself even clearer later in the day.

‘People have been killed because of your lies. You have blood on your hands, ”he wrote.

So far, Cruz has yet to respond to Rogen’s tweets about the Capitol uprising.

However, other critics and Democratic members of Congress have also accused Cruz and Missouri Senator Josh Hawley of fueling the riot, and there have been calls from some members to expel the senators from the Senate for their participation in rallies leading to the deadly hack.

The Neighbors star later tweeted, “This is not a Twitter” feud. ” @tedcruz tried to overthrow our government. He inspired a deadly crowd to storm the Capitol. And I think that should be made fun of. So f *** him. ‘
