Kate Hudson ponders what it’s like to have three children with three different fathers

She is a popular actress known for her generosity and sunny disposition.

And Kate Hudson opened up on Sunday about her experience as a mother, particularly with regard to the fact that her three children each have a different father.

The Almost Famous star, 41, sat down on Sunday Today for a virtual chat with Willie Geist, in which she commented, ‘I have multiple dads, I have kids all over!’

“The only expectations that I really have that are very high in my life are with my children and with family matters,” she continued.

“Other than that, it’s like I’m just letting it go … I finish my a **, and then I walk away, hoping for the best.”

Kate shares her eldest son Ryder, 17, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, youngest son Bingham, nine, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, and daughter Rani Rose, two, with partner Danny Fujikawa.

In the interview, the Skeleton Key star also reflected on what it was like growing up alienated from her own father, actor and musician Bill Hudson, which she referred to as a ’41-year-old issue ‘.

“I think alienation is very common, unfortunately, and I think it’s important that people talk about it,” Kate recalled.

‘Sometimes [people] need a little talk and humor to take us to places where we can heal some of the wounds inflicted on us by our families. ‘

Kate is the daughter of Oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn, and together with her brother Oliver, she was raised with the help of Goldie’s longtime partner Kurt Russell.

“I have a beautiful mother,” the Fool’s Gold actress shared. “I have a stepfather who stepped in and played a huge part in sharing what it is like to have a trustworthy father figure in our lives, but that doesn’t alter the fact that we didn’t know our father.”

Kate also shared what it is like during this strange period of confinement at home with her children, who vary in age from toddler to teen.

‘I want to be, like,’ Yeah it’s so great and we’re figuring out … ‘but the reality is there are days that are great, and there are days when I have to remind myself to be grateful , ‘Hudson said.

‘I hadn’t thought in a million years that I would spend a year in one place,’ she also shared, referring to herself as a ‘gypsy’ who loved to travel as a working actor.

“When you have so many kids, sometimes you have those times when you hide in your bathroom,” Please get me out of here! “

“I remind myself that there are a lot of people who have lost their loved ones, and we just have to stay in for a while,” she added.
