Black mirror is satire. I thought we were all on the same page with this.

Such as The independent report, Microsoft patent granted on some technology that allows the company to leverage people’s (or even fictional people’s) online footprints, looking for things like ‘images, voice data, social media posts [and] electronic messages ”, and then turn them into a chatbot.

There are also facilities for people who can train a homemade bot.

The patented technology would be able to create the bot from a “past or present”. The latter is problematic in itself as there are ten bad reasons for each good when it comes to simulating a conversation with a person who, by virtue of his living, could talk themselves.

And the first is just … look, things like this has been and will be incredibly fucked up forever. Let the dead rest and spare the living from torment.
