Two-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Ben Affleck is reportedly poised to remain single for the foreseeable future.
Berkeley-born, Cambridge-raised 48-year-old quarantined castmate Ana de Armas is said to have ended their romance over the phone last week.
“Ben accepts that he’s better off being single for a while,” a source told The Mirror on Saturday.

Affleck’s friends have urged him to “work on himself” and “to stop rushing into very intense relationships that implode once the honeymoon is over.”

Things will get tough when Ben and Ana have to reunite to promote their roles as a dysfunctional couple in Adrian Lyne’s erotic thriller Deep Water, which airs in the US and UK on August 13.
