The Ministry of Health (DS) reported two additional deaths today, Sunday, corresponding to two women aged 55 and 56, one from the metro zone and the other from the Fajardo region.
Likewise, DS’s daily report confirmed a total of 2,192 new positive cases for the virus, reflecting the samples taken between January 8 and 22 this year. Of those cases, 831 are confirmed by molecular testing.
With these latest figures, the total number of deaths on the island from coronavirus rose to 1,773 and the number of confirmed cases was 84,578.
