América is one of the Mexican clubs that will participate in the next edition of the Concacaf Champions League in 2021 and for which they will try not to repeat what happened last year, where they were eliminated in the semifinals by Los Angeles FC.

Concacaf confirmed during this Friday the match of the championship and some changes that the sports competition will have as a result of the pandemic. Due to the programming and travel challenges associated with the virus, the round of 16 programming will take place on February 10 in Miami, United States.
In April, the round of 16 of the Concach champions will be played between the 6th and 8th respectively, while the return occurs between days 13 and 15 the following week. On the other hand, the quarter-finals take place between 27 and 29 of the same month, while the return will be played between May 4th and 6th.
The semi-finals of this competition were scheduled for the week of August 10-12 during their first meeting, while the second was between 24 and 26 of the same month. However, The final of the Concachampions will be played between 26 and 28 October.

There is one more team to meet to complete the final list of the league between Forge FC and Toronto FC, both from Canada, to complete the participating table.
