Eunisis Vásquez was elected as a judge of the Constitutional Court this Friday, after being reviewed by members of the National Council of Magistracy (CNM).
Born May 31, 1960 in Nagua, María Trinidad Sánchez. Lawyer by profession, with a master’s degree in constitutional law from Universidad Iberoamericana and a postgraduate degree in constitutional justice from the University of Castilla La Mancha.
She was president of the Lower House of the Civil Chamber of the national district court of appeal.
On February 19, Vásquez Cabrera was appointed ambassador to the Santa Sede, through Decree 1-20, to replace Víctor Grimaldi, a position he currently holds.
He is competent for his duties in the Civil Chamber of the Court of Appeal.
