MONTERREY – The technician of the Tigers, Ricardo Ferretti, was punished with a suspension match after being caught smoking in the match against Santos. The Brazilian coach will also receive a financial sanction.
“Smoking on the field, the field, the benches and / or the technical area before and / or after the game”, is the reason for the sanction to the Brazilian strategist.
The referee of the match between Santos and Tigers, Fernando Guerrero, did not report the incident on the card and the Disciplinary Commission waited for the commissioner’s report of the pledge to know if the feline technician had made the mistake. After the sanctions were reviewed, it was decided Tuca should be punished with a competition and a financial fine.
“Smoking is strictly prohibited in the technical area, the court, the tunnels and / or corridors, in accordance with the provisions of the Sanctions Regulations. The Referee and the Race Commissioner will have the authority to require compliance with this provision in order to avoid being penalized in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned regulation, ”read the general contest rules.
Ferretti must cover an economic fine, which can be as high as 8 thousand pesos according to regulations, and may not be included in the next commitment of the Tigers, which is against Atlas in the Jalisco stadium.
