Four people arrive in Colombia with a positive covid test – Government – Politics

Migration Colombia announced in the afternoon of this Monday that four people with a positive test for coronavirus have entered the country, which means that there are already six new cases in the last 48 in the same situation.

These last two travelers are foreigners from Mexico and the Dominican Republic who have arrived at El Dorado International Airport. They were available to health authorities to evaluate his medical condition.

Migration Colombia assured that “once the medical condition has been established by the health authorities and it has been determined that foreigners do not pose a risk to other passengers, they will proceed with their departure from the country.”

Likewise, he added that they will take administrative action against the four foreigners and the airlines that transported them.

Hours earlier it was known that two Colombians with a positive coronavirus test also entered the country. A national who arrived at El Dorado International Airport and a Colombian who arrived in Cali, who stated that he did not have the test result when he boarded, but that he received it when he landed.
Both came from the United States.
