Harry Brant – the flamboyant fashionista son of polo-playing billionaire Peter Brant and supermodel Stephanie Seymour – has died of an accidental drug overdose, his family said Monday. He was 24.
The gender-bending bon vivant – a hip couture icon along with his older brother Peter Jr. – was found dead on Sunday just days before he was due to go to rehab, his parents said in a statement to The Post.
“It is with great sadness that we share with you the news that our beloved son, Harry Brant, lost his battle with addiction and died as a result of an accidental overdose of prescription medication,” we read in the statement by Stephanie and Peter Brant.
“Our hearts are shattered. Harry wanted to overcome his addiction and was only days away from rehab.
“We will be forever sad that Harry’s life was cut short by this devastating disease. We ask you to allow privacy for our family as we try to cope with the loss of our beautiful, beautiful boy. “
Harry and his brother – often described as the masculine version of the wealthy celebrity sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton – were well-known regulars at New York City’s hottest parties and front-row visitors to top international fashion shows.
“Harry loved fashion and was a pioneer in beauty and cosmetic products for men. He worked with a major brand on a unisex cosmetics line,” said his family.
“He’s accomplished a lot in his 24 years, but we’ll never get the chance to see how much more Harry could have done.”
Growing up in their privileged world, Harry walked through the family’s mansion on the 300-acre property in Greenwich, Ct., Complete with dozens of ponies, a polo field – and a 12-foot sculpture of Jeff Koons in the front yard – and Being questioned by his father about the names of the artists whose priceless works graced the walls, the magazine Harper’s Bazaar wrote in a profile of the family in 2014.
“If I did it right, I would get a dollar,” Harry told the magazine.
The brothers’ father, Peter Sr., is the Queens-born owner of newsprint manufacturer White Birch Paper and Brant Publications, Inc., which own Andy Warhol-founded Interview magazine. Peter Sr. is also a world-renowned art collector and loves to play polo, although he is said to have a temper, which earned him the nickname “the John McEnroe of polo.”

The boys’ gorgeous mom Seymour was one of the first – and most famous – Angels of lingerie company Victoria’s Secret.
Her handsome sons have inherited her model genes and worked for a variety of agencies – and created a unisex makeup line for MAC Cosmetics too.
Still, the eccentric, Gucci-loving siblings – and their parents – have been no strangers to controversy over the years.
Harry Brant was arrested in 2016 for theft and drug addiction for allegedly skipping a $ 27.85 cab ride and being caught “with a white substance” that later tested positive as a drug.
That same year, his brother Peter was charged with assault after allegedly getting into an angry brawl with a port authority agent at JFK Airport. In 2012, Peter was also caught joking about the murder of President Obama.
In 2009, Peter Brant Sr. Seymour of being an “unfit mother” in divorce filings for dropping pills and abusing alcohol. The couple have since reconciled.
In 2014, Seymour was charged with DUI after flipping her Range Rover on a highway ramp and hitting a road sign.
Her husband was also once behind bars for 84 days for tax evasion.
