Following yesterday’s AFC Divisional playoff game between the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and former Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson exchanged words on Twitter after Wilson tackled Mahomes, leading the 2019 MVP into the concussion protocol from the NFL.
Wison had apologized to Mahomes on social media and also defended his name after many fans claimed he was a dirty player. Mahomes responded, seemingly rejected the whole thing and accepted the apology.
Mahomes’s mom, Randi, also took to Twitter to call Wilson. Stating “Evil Never Wins”, and includes Wilson’s jersey number.
The tweet appeared to be a direct appeal from Wilson’s hit on Mahomes.
Wilson, who has taken every opportunity to say the hit was unintentional and that he is not a ‘dirty player’, responded immediately.
