Changes in Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Día” Production
Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Día” will soon be renamed “Hoy Día”, an opportunity that will start the morning show of the Spanish-language television network in a new era characterized by a more informative and current concept.
“In ‘Hoy Día’ everything starts better. With more information, more news, a unique, original space and it will be for you. Information you need: practical, useful and dynamic. ‘Hoy Día’ has your accent ”, explained a promotional video for Telemundo on the Instagram platform.
So far, the television network has not announced the release date of the new era of “A New Day” under the name of “Today Day”.

According to La Opinion, Adamari López, Nicole Suárez, Stephanie Himonidis (Chiquibaby) and Chef Alfredo Oropeza will be part of the new Telemundo morning show format.
In November 2020, Ana María Canseco reported exclusively on the changes in Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Día”. At the time, Canseco assured that the rise of “Hoy Día” is meant to compete with Univision’s “Despierta América” with a very different concept from what had been done in recent years.
Via its official website, Canseco pointed out that “Hoy Día” will be a more news television show and will have a completely blank set. Host Francisco Caceres will also not be part of the new era of Telemundo’s morning production.
Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Día”, formerly “Get up!” Named, has been on the air on the television network since 2008. In the past, personalities like Daniel Sarcos, Rashel Díaz, Héctor Sandarti and Marco Antonio Regil were part of the team of official presenters of the morning show.
Currently “Un Nuevo Día” is hosted by Adamari López and Stephanie Himonidis. Jimena Gállego, Azucena Cierco and Rebeka Smyth have been guest presenters of the show for the past few months.
Contrary to what has been done in “Un Nuevo Día” in recent years, the arrival of “Hoy Día” will include a news program that will not focus on the entertainment industry as the main focus.
The new team of official presenters for “Hoy Día” will be led by Adamari López, one of the longest-running personalities of the Telemundo morning show, which has been broadcast with great success in the United States since 2008.
The Telemundo show has won three national Emmy awards as “Outstanding Morning Program in Spanish” and has positioned itself as one of the favorite television productions of a Spanish-speaking audience in the United States.
Amid the ongoing restructuring of “Un Nuevo Día”, Chef Alfredo Oropeza was the last personality to join the show to provide endless culinary recipes to Hispanics following Telemundo programming.
Telemundo’s morning production “Un Nuevo Día” airs Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am Eastern Time.
