Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint reveals he’s ‘very comfortable as a dad’ and claims he’s getting MORE sleep now than before he got older
He welcomed a baby girl named Wednesday with his longtime girlfriend Georgia Groome in May last year.
And Rupert Grint has spoken of the joys of fatherhood, saying that he “feels very comfortable as a father” and that he even sleeps more than before.
The Harry Potter star, 32, and his actress partner Georgia, 28, have adapted to parenthood together while stuck.

Speaking to Glamor magazine about becoming a father, he said: “I feel very comfortable as a father. I’m still kind of coming to terms with what being a father is, but I love it. ‘
He revealed that the change to paternity made him change some habits ‘overnight’ and he quit smoking right away.
And unlike many new parents, he said parenting “ calms down ” and claims he is sleeping more now than before.

‘I went to sleep so much better. I used to be a horrible sleepless, now I sleep, ”he said.
‘I feel a lot more – I don’t know, weirdly relaxed. It has been a very relaxing process for me. There are clearly days when they [Wednesday] is FULL on. But there is something really nice about the routine. It put me in a good place, I think. ‘
Grint also gave an insight into his relationship with girlfriend Georgia, who is famous for her role in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, saying the secret to their long-term love is that they are ‘best friends’.
The couple have kept their relationship famously private since they started dating in 2011.
However, he admitted that welcoming a child during a pandemic was sometimes difficult, without the usual support from family and friends.
But the British star said he can’t wait to take his daughter out on Wednesday to see the world when things get back to normal.
In November, Grint joined Instagram by posting a photo of himself cradling his then six-month-old daughter in a pink sweater with the back of her head facing the camera.
He garnered more than a million likes in just four hours and now has more than four million followers on the social media platform.
The actor is busy promoting the second season of the hit Apple TV + series Servant, which focuses on the tragic loss of a child.
