Bow Wow Burned To Twitter To Host A Full Houston Nightclub Rager Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Bow Wow is confused after staging a concert of a concert Friday night in Houston amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

The 33-year-old rapper managed to pack a nightclub full of people seen in the cramped neighborhoods without masks to celebrate club promoter Larry Morrow’s.All Black Birthday Weekend. ‘

When footage of the Clé nightclub performance flooded social media, Twitter users had a lot to say, prompting Bow Wow to respond before all of his tweets were deleted.

It comes just days after Texas became the second state after California to register two million COVID-19 cases. Houston currently has a 20% positivity rate, and a more contagious strain has been discovered in recent days.

The rapper – who for the past few years has been trying to rename himself Shad Moss – was seen with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 in hand when a crowd of Texas residents came to the event.

The alleged weekend-long event also saw rapper Meek Mill attend with Trey Songz and Fabolous also scheduled to perform.

For many online, the only thing wilder than his blatant disdain for COVID-19 was the fact that so many people risked everything to see him play hits from 2005.

Twitter users took to the issue while dragging those desperate enough to see the slightly outdated rapper, and even Zach Braff got in on the fun.

Another wrote, “You risk all of you living for … BOW WOW?” As Zach Braff continued, “I thought about it and decided I’m not willing to die for Bow Wow.”

The tweets kept coming when someone posted a photo of the Grim Reaper and wrote, ‘Covid joins Bow Wow on stage …’

Starting in October, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order allowing venues to host indoor events with a capacity of up to 75 percent, with tables for no more than 10 people.

Houston’s chief medical officer, David Persse, outlined safety protocols when it came to hosting special events, including six feet of physical distance, wearing a mask, temperature controls, and appropriate wristbands once guests were marked as symptom-free.

The owners of nightclub Spire, who also own Cle, Saturday’s venue, came under fire for a Lil Baby concert in late November after video surfaced of customers shoulder to shoulder with no masks on.

A operator responded to the situation via text message when they told ABC 13:

‘We were under our legal occupation. Every night we deal with keeping people socially distant. Once Lil Baby (Wednesday night’s headliner) started performing, people got out of their seats and ran to the front, so we had to cut off the concert. ‘

The rapper who became known as ‘Lil Bow Wow’ in the early 2000s at the age of 13 has lost a lot of credibility as an artist, with many of the tweets acknowledging he is virtually irrelevant in the music world.

After waking up to the headlines about his performance, the rapper turned to Twitter to try and defend himself, though he quickly removed them on Saturday.

At 2:30 pm he wrote, ‘I just woke up … aww god. Here we go, ‘with the laugh-crying emoji.

He kept saying, ‘Man, I throw parties all year round. I wore my mask in the club. I can’t host with that thing on. ‘

The Atlanta resident tried to add that he didn’t remove the mask until he got to the microphone, adding “ Keep sanitizer on me at all times. ”

A user tried to defend the rapper, saying, ‘We are getting tired of these covid bulls *** t, people have to and want to get out of the house’, to which Bow Wow ‘agreed’.

He tried to indemnify himself from any wrongdoing as he was quick to point out that “Texas is open,” as is Atlanta. “I can’t help but live in a city where we’ve been open since last spring.”
