UFC All eyes on McGregor
YOUFC Chairman Dana White has confirmed that Khabib Nurmagomedov could be back in the organization, but the Russian does have one condition if he wants to turn his pension around.
Khabib took the shock decision to hang up his gloves after Justin Gaethje’s submission to UFC 254 in October. Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier Take on UFC 257, and that fight will be key to the Russian’s return.
“In fact, the way he feels now, he’s accomplished everything he wanted to achieve,” White told ESPN.
He thought so [Charles] Oliveira looked very good in his last fight against Tony Ferguson. So next Saturday we have the McGregor-Poirier fight and [Michael] Chandler and [Dan] Whore there.
So his words to me were, ‘I’m going to watch this fight. I would never tie the division. These guys are doing something spectacular, showing me something spectacular and making me want to come back to fight’.
“So I feel like if someone delivers, if these guys can do something special, Khabib will fight them. “
