In a recent exclusive interview with the show “Ventaneando”, Juan Rivera and Rosie Rivera discussed the possibility that American singer Christina Aguilera will play Jenni Rivera in the biographical film they plan to release soon.

Rosie Rivera for her part also spoke about the possible lead role of Christina Aguilera in the biographical film of Jenni Rivera: “The vocal potential is excellent (…) Jenni loved Christina Aguilera, she has to do her job and we wait, hopefully he says yes ”.

The aforementioned media explained that the script for Rivera’s film project would be directed by Kate Lanier, who wrote the biographical film “What’s Love Got To Do With It” based on the life of singer Tina Turner.
According to the AP, the Jenni Rivera biopic will focus on her struggle to succeed in an initially male-dominated environment. It will also cover aspects of his personal life such as falling in love with a man addicted to narcotics and the constant abuse he faced.
The life of the interpreter of “Unforgettable” has previously been seen on the small screen in series like “Mariposa de Barrio”, a television project approved by the Rivera family and broadcast on Telemundo in 2017.
