FC Barcelona – La Liga Contract at the end of the season
F.worms Barcelona forward Emmanuel Amunike has urged the club to respect Lionel Messi‘s final decision about his future.
The 33-year-old submitted a transfer request last summer, but after that Josep Maria BartomeuStepping down as president, his future is now rather unclear.
MessiThe contract expires in June and he thinks he’s waiting to see what kind of project the president-to-be has to offer before making a decision whether or not to stay.
“You never know what’s going to happen,” Amunike told Radio MARCA.
“The reality is that you have to thank Messi for everything he has given to Barcelona. But everything has its beginning and end. He’s not as young as he was.
“But I will remember what Messi has done for the club. When Messi leaves, you have to respect and thank him for what he has done.”
Amunike joined Barcelona not long after their current boss, Ronald Koeman, had left the club.
“I’m happy about it Koeman‘added the Nigerian.’ It was not that easy for him.
“Now they are in the final of the Supercopa de Espana and that gives the team more confidence.”
