He United States Soccer Hall of Fame has released a list of 245 candidates to join this select club who have stood out in football North American and where the name of two former players stood out Central Americans, the Guatemalan Carlos Ruiz and the Honduran Victor Bernárdez.

Carlos Ruiz
He chapin came to MLS in the 2002 when he signed for him universeIn that year he was the most valuable player and was crowned champion. Ruiz played in total 183 games in the regular season and 19 playoffs, marked a total of 105 goals. Besides the Angelenos he was part of: Toronto, Philadelphia Union, DC United and FC Dallas.
Victor Bernárdez
The former defender Honduran arrived in the 2012 already Earthquakes in San José, club where he became a legend in the six seasons he was in. It was part of it MLS Ideal Eleven in 2012 and was nominated for defender of the year that season. In total he played 162 games of the regular phase and three of the playoffs.
The two Central Americans compete with stars with the status of: David Beckham and Thierry Henry, the next ceremony is scheduled for the United States Soccer Hall of Fame May 22 at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
