M.arco Asensio was disappointed to be on the losing side Real Madrid dropped on Athletics club in the semi-finals of Supercopa de Espana on Thursday.

“They started very well and it was difficult for us at the beginning” Asensio said after the game.

“We are sad and angry, but this is football and we have to keep going.”
The Spaniard believes that Athletic‘s opener allowed them to grow in the game, which means Real Madrid on the back foot.
“It wasn’t the intensity,” he said.
“They grew after the first goal.
“We tried, but it didn’t work. We tried to switch in the second half, but that was not enough.”
Asensio, not too gloomy about the result, that says Real Madrid will have to bounce back to compete on other fronts.
“We are sad and angry, but we have other goals,” he added.
“We have to get back on our feet.”
