TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS.-Is referred to as CC-13 in a report by the Southern District Attorney’s Office of the United States, in a case related to drug trafficking, René Orlando Ponce Fonseca, Former Chief of the Armed Forces (FF AA), assured everything will come to light as he is an honorary soldier and has never been ordered to carry out illegal actions.
“ In that report my name is nowhere to be found, I am a soldier of honor and so today I go out with my head held high to tell the Honduran people and my soldiers that I commanded with honor, loyalty and sacrifice that I did nothing else work that I had to do as an authority.

“Bless God that I have never been ordered from the upper echelons to see my glorious forces involved in illicit actions,” he said.
“I can confirm that and I can support it wherever and however, this soldier is an honorary soldier,” he insisted, confirming that this is a systematic attack on institutions that are a stronghold in the countries.
According to the American lawyer, the president Juan Orlando Hernandez receive bribes from drug dealer Geovanny Daniel Fuentes Ramírez, Arrested last year in Miami, United States, where they also link Ponce Fonseca, who claimed not to know the suspect.
