Caribbean Films announces reality show hosted by youtuber “Capricornio TV”

Under the news that the company is bringing Caribbean Cinemas for this year 2021, it announced the premiere of the first reality show from its production company, Caribbean Films.

According to a press release, this project bears the name “Flow Calle”, which aims to share with the public new talents who want to make their way within urban music, this initiative is motivated by capacity, passion and dedication to young Dominicans.

Caribbean Cinemas recognizes young talent in the Dominican neighborhoods and lends a helping hand to serve as support to promote future new exponents through exposure, which is a goal of great social value to the company.

General production is in the hands of the producer Riccardo Bardellino, while the audiovisual direction is in the hands of the filmmaker Jean Guerra.

This project is led by youtuber Capricornio TV, who stood out for conducting interviews in the most vulnerable and low-income neighborhoods of the Dominican Republic, where young people show their lifestyles and connect with a large audience.

Capricorn has managed to reveal great neighborhood talents that stand out in the urban genre today, such as Haraca Kiko and El Pepe.

“Flow Calle” is a reality show with 8 episodes in digital format, which is broadcast twice a week in the Dominican Republic on the YouTube channel “Capricornio TV”. Although it can be viewed internationally through other platforms to be announced later.

This project has a great team familiar with the urban genre, which will be responsible for the evaluation and selection of the participants, these are: Brea Frank, Luinny Corporan and Melymel.

The awards

For first place, prizes worth one million pesos have been considered, second place, prizes worth 500 thousand pesos and third place, prizes worth 230 thousand pesos.

Accolades include music production / video clip and participation in the next film produced by Caribbean Films.
