Leopard wanders the corridors of a medical college

The security cameras of a Medical Faculty in India the moment when a leopard entered a building on campus and wandered down a hallway.

The images, taken at Chamarajanagar Medical College, show a leopard entering a building on campus and walking up and down a hallway before fleeing through the same door it used to enter the facility.

The dean of the school confirmed that the leopard entered the building and the university staff witnessed the animal’s raid.

Authorities say the university is next to a tiger sanctuary, which means that leopards can sometimes be seen on campus.

According to the Minister of the Environment, the leopard population has increased by 60% in recent years. Prakash Javadekar.

The minister said the increase in the number of leopards, followed by similar reports on tigers and lions, shows that the country is well protecting its ecology and biodiversity.
