NFL fans love the Wild Card Game on Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon has taken over the NFL and fans just can’t get enough. Twitter has been inundated with people tweeting photos from their televisions as SpongeBob SquarePants and his friends put on a show for eternity. It’s a Wild Card Playoff game between the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints, but the biggest stars may be animated. (That’s pretty hard to do with stars like Drew Brees and Khalil Mack on the field.) There has been a slime cannon in the end zone, and funny filters over players throughout the game. Infographics have also taken on a Nick flavor with Alvin and the Chipmunks aboard the show. It’s just a surreal scene, check out some fun below:

CBS Sports spoke with Noah Eagle, Nevaeh Green, Lex Lumpkin and Nate Burleson, who are on the phone today.

Eagle said, “This is a perfect opportunity to captivate a new audience of sports fans and football fans, while providing a family-friendly broadcast so the family can watch everything as a whole and have fun. It will be a mix of sports, entertainment, laughter, fun, all of the above, and we also expect a good game that doesn’t hurt. “

“We’re breaking it down so that everyone can understand whether you’re nine or you’re 32, you can still have fun with this broadcast,” Green added. “I feel like adults will really enjoy this as well, because we still provide that information that you need during the game. But we also put it in a really interesting and very unique way,” she said.

“I expect to be completely slimmed down in the sense that I will be like a coach where you just don’t see it coming … But I have told some other people that I might need to bring a shower cap because I take my hair very seriously , ”Added Eagle.
