This is the third slaughter registered in the central Mexican entity so far this year.
The events took place at dawn this Saturday, when National Guard agents observed a house on fire in the private neighborhood of Pedregal.
Agents of the Criminal Investigation Office of the Public Prosecutor’s Office local, who, on entering the house consumed by the flames, saw the body of a man for the first time.
Later, in one of the rooms, among the rubble, they found the baby’s body, while in the backyard two other bodies were found, one of a man and one of a woman, both with gun wounds and burns.
Last Thursday, nine people in the same congregation were shot dead in a house where a vigil was being held.
And at the beginning of the week, on January 4, five people were shot in an apartment in the municipality of León, the largest in the state.
This killed 18 people in the first three massacres in Guanajuato, an entity that is the most violent in Mexico as of 2018.
The explanation that the authorities give to the incessant increase of murders maliciously, these are largely related to disputes that characterize organized crime.
Two groups fight for most of the territory Guanajuato: he Jalisco New Generation Cartel, and the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel, whose leader, José Antonio Yépez Ortiz – nicknamed the “Marro” – was arrested last August.
