You could lose up to half a stone in January with the free WW magazine – Weight Watchers reimagined that – in every copy of this weekend’s Mail on Sunday.

‘If 2020 has taught us anything, it is that taking care of yourself should be a priority. I called WW because I absolutely believe they have the tools to help me make this change. ‘

James will follow the new myWW +, which offers a holistic approach to weight loss and wellness by focusing on the pillars of health that have a measurable impact on success, including: nutrition, activity, mindset and sleep.

James has been candid about his weight issues in the past and in 2017 he lost six pounds and found great success in Hollywood, but he has also admitted that the only food he can’t stop is bread.

Speaking of the last time he had ‘no bread’ for dietary reasons, James recalled an incident while he was eating and said, ”[I have] kind of a struggle with food …

“Then they delivered this basket of warm, fresh bread and we said, ‘It’s happening, we’ll do it. Who are we trying to fool?” “It’s our nemesis, it’s out to destroy us!”

Anna Hill, WW UK General Manager said: “We would like to extend a warm welcome to James Corden, who has joined the WW family today! …

This announcement is particularly special for the UK as it is where his career began and remains a much loved and well-known star …

We thank James for sharing his story in such an honest and heartfelt way and embracing the power of our community to encourage the nation to put their health first and make 2021 a more positive year.

James joined WW and began his wellness journey at a critical time for the health and wellness of the country. A recent WW survey shows that 4 in 10 Britons feel less happy and healthy than a year ago and, like James, ‘83% look for help with their wellness journey’.

Mindy Grossman, CEO and President of WW, added: “ James has the distinctive ability to inspire people through his vulnerability, his humility and his humor …

“We are fortunate that he is our global partner as he shares his poignant perspective at a time when it is more important than ever to prioritize our health.”
