Wednesday said it will extend the hiatus of its Princess Cruises line until May 14, amid uncertainty over travel restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The break applies to sailings in the Caribbean, the California coast and early season for cruises in Alaska and Europe, the company said in a statement. Guests who have currently booked a canceled trip can receive a refundable future cruise credit equal to 100% of the fare, plus an additional non-refundable bonus credit equal to 25% of the fare paid. The break had previously been extended to March 31. Carnival shares are up 0.7% and are up 36% in the past three months, while the S&P 500 SPX,
has won 12%.
