Months after releasing a remix of the song with Tiësto and Spanish singer Aitana, the 36-year-old pop star called the collaboration ‘awesome’ and unpacked the meaning behind the uplifting, inclusive anthem.
“To get through the levels of life, you have to be resilient,” said the 13-time Grammy nominee in her latest Instagram video Monday.

On learning to adapt well to trauma and tragedy, the Roar singer suggested articulating resilience until ‘you actually become resilient’.
“I’ve always believed that words have ‘energy’. Start by telling yourself you’re #RESILIENT, and maybe you just believe yourself, ‘she wrote in her caption.
In the short video, Perry rocked a bold red lipstick, which matched her hoodie and the backdrop behind her as she held her beloved teacup Poodle.
Her glamorous make-up highlighted her flawless complexion, bold brows and long lashes on set.

She later changed her red hoodie and gold earrings into black and white polka dot pajamas while posing in bed for a Coca-Cola ad.
On the fifth song of her sixth studio album Smile, she talks about the fact that she does not let ‘the concrete’ hold her back and climb higher ‘the harder the wind blows’.

Speaking to The Guardian, she said: ‘Nothing, no opportunity, no one can inspire me to get out of bed. My depression was expressed in lethargy, in lack of interest. Like, now I can’t care about anything anymore. Something. And don’t look forward to anything. ‘

Katy revealed that she spent a week at the Hoffman Institute, which is being billed as an effective treatment for depression, anger, and anxiety, in addition to comparing her negative behavior to being tackled as a ‘Mary Poppins bag.’
The star also referenced the moment in her 2012 documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me, where she shed tears before hitting the stage following the end of her marriage to Russell Brand.
Katy added that she has now learned to “ compartmentalize ” and that you should “ put your personal life away for two hours ” while performing, joking that she offers a “ Disneyland service. ”

Previously, she revealed that she once feared “ not going through 2018 ” after hitting rock bottom amid her hard-fought battle with depression.
