How to Find Johnny’s Friendship Stats
To find Johnny’s Friendship stats, open the menu by pressing Touchpad on PlayStation, I on the keyboard, or View on Xbox.
While the menu opens, you will find three large icons at the top of the screen. The middle icon shows the percentage of your relationship with Johnny. You can move the mouse pointer over the icon for even more information.
It takes 70% friendship to unlock the secret ending
In short, no, you don’t have to reach 70% friendship to unlock the secret ending. All it takes to unlock the secret ending is simply selecting the correct answers during the big side job Chippin ‘In. If you follow the dialogue options below, you can unlock the secret ending without achieving maximum friendship with Johnny.

- “Let’s do something about that.” Do not forget to write Johnny’s initials when prompted.
- “The Guy Who Saved My Life”
- “No, I screwed up too.”
- “What do you want from me?”

- “Yes, I’ll call Rogue.”

How To Get Your Relationship With Johnny Up To 70%
These following missions all provide an opportunity to increase Johnny’s friendship. The exact value each mission provides is also shown below.

Chippin ‘In is one of the few major side jobs with several important decisions and consequences. The first list of choices comes during Johnny’s night out, and the second during the conversation taking place at the Oil Fields.
Night out:
- Tequila old fashioned. (The Silverhand Special)

These cheats and mods can help you reach 70%
Before we proceed, it is important to note that the following mods and cheats are provided by a third party and are in no way affiliated with CD Projekt Red. By using these mods you will be fully aware of the risks that come with them.
With that out of the way, if you’re still struggling to get to Johnny’s 70% friendship or just don’t want to reload to a previous save to fix a dialogue choice, you can choose to download a mod that lets you change Johnny’s Friendship Value.
Unfortunately, it is worth noting that the mod is only available to those on PC.
Now the mod in question is called Cyber Engine Tweaks and was created by the folks at the CP77 Modding Tools Disagreement. If you are interested in downloading the mod just go to it Cybermods Wiki page.
Once you download the mod follow the step by step instructions on their website and boot your save file. While the game is running, press ~ to open the command window and paste the following code into the text box “Game.SetDebugFact (” sq032_johnny_friend “, 1)”.
That’s it, it’s that simple because you have now unlocked the secret ending.
