King, 87, has type 2 diabetes and survived a stroke last year after an angioplasty in which a stent was implanted to unclog the arteries of the heart.

In 2020, the presenter also tragically lost two of his children within weeks of each other: Andy, 65, to a heart attack and Chaia, 51, a lung cancer victim.

Throughout his life, Larry King survived a heart attack in 1987, as well as lung and prostate cancer.
