The Cuban Humorist Ulises Toirac again accused of Cuba’s current reality in its social networks that ironically and hilariously question the illusory and enthusiastic situation described by the National Television Newscast (NTV) Cuban, as the country looks like one of the worst economic crises in its most recent history.

Sorry, I have tired people. Call me a traitor or whatever you want! I’M LEAVING THIS COUNTRY. Where are the immigration procedures to live in the NTV done? ”, The comedian wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

The counterpart of the perfect world described by the NTV, with its gigantic economic development projects in Mariel and the sacrifice of the happy and prosperous people, are the shortage of basic products, the lines to buy food, the oppression of those who think differently and economic inflation.

What has been described by the NTV is so far from what is happening on the streets of Cuba that Ulises Toirac has made many Cubans laugh by suggesting that the NTV is a different country from the island.

The post of the host of the classic comedy show And what makes you laugh?, has already generated more than 100 comments and more than 700 comments on Facebook.

User José Miguel Pascual Martí remembered some verses from Carlos Varela’s historical song, Politics does not fit in the sugar bowl: “Many years ago Varela said it in a song ‘… everyone wants to live on the news, nothing is missing and money is not needed …’”.

Some confined themselves to saying, “that’s the best country,” or invited the Cubans to “go there,” referring ironically to NTV.

Others went on and said with humor and inside jokes, “Come to the Mariel! There you have cigarettes, a new apartment with gardens, new sidewalks and streets, you will not be short of water, nor paint for the house, you will not miss the picadillo and let alone the disposable bastards for when you need them “said one user.

Earlier, Ulises Toirac joked about the lack of cigarettes on his social networks and just today the NTV sent out a comprehensive report on the “performance” of the government in the port of Mariel.

Always smiling, Ulises Toirac has been very critical of the political and economic situation Cubans find themselves in, due to the mismanagement of the country’s resources by its leaders and the crisis caused by COVID-19.

In December, the Cuban comedian wrote a hilarious letter to Santa commenting on the country’s realities.

“I’d rather not ask you because since you’re from the North Pole, I have a great fuck myself and be classified as a mercenary. But I’m going to risk it because that’s what Christmas is for: risking … To ask you what you can fix, ‘wrote Ulises Toirac amid the repression unleashed by Cuban state security against the San Isidro strikers.
